Norwegian energy and aluminium producer Hydro has opened the Intershelf Center for the Development of Offshore Industry Suppliers, in Murmansk and Arkhangelsk.
The establishment of Intershelf represents one of the primary achievements of Hydro's large-scale Supplier Development Program in Russia, which the company has been actively working on since early 2003.
We want Intershelf to make a positive contribution to the challenges of offshore development in the Arctic - and believe it reconfirms our focus on developing a competitive Russian supplier industry.
Through Hydro’s leading offshore technology, world-class project performance and genuine commitment to society, we are ready to assist Russia in developing natural and human resources. As far as we are concerned, the next 100 years belong to Russia!
